New all-inclusive pass for Florence museums

Italy’s Firenze card grants admission to a variety of Tuscan attractions.

Visitors to Florence, Italy can now purchase the Firenze card granting them access to a variety of attractions, as well as public transportation, reports Routard.

Valid for 72 hours, the $70 pass includes admission to more than 30 museums in Florence, and free public transportation.

Cardholders can visit permanent collections, exhibitions and other activities held in the museums, and at the same time, avoid lineups and booking limits.

The card costs around $70 and, once activated by first use, is valid for three consecutive days. The pass can only be used once at each museum.

Visitors can purchase the Firenze Card, which comes with an information kit with details about 33 museums and attractions, in advance online, or at local Florence tourist offices and museums.
