Charlize Theron says J’Adore to Dior

Oscar winner reprises her role as brand ambassador.

Academy award-winning actress Charlize Theron is reprising her longstanding role as the face of Dior’s J’Adore perfume, reports FashionMag.

The fall 2011 ad campaign will launch officially on September 4. Rather than unveiling a few promotional images, the fashion house has created a 17-second teaser trailer hinting at the upcoming campaign.

The teaser shows the Monster star, dressed in sunglasses, a low-cut black top, tight jeans and black pumps, running up a flight of stairs and then through a crowded, mirrored room where people sit waiting, fanning themselves with shiny golden programs stamped with the word Dior. Theron ducks into a side room and the screen fades to black, showing simply: "September 4."

The new campaign will include both print and television ads. The blonde beauty was photographed by Patrick Demarchelier in a shoot that took place in the Hall of Mirrors at the Château de Versailles, while the 30-second commercial was directed by Jean-Jacques Annaud.

J’Adore first debuted in 2002, and the South African actress has served as brand ambassador for the fragrance for the past seven years.

Now 36, the North Country actress is set to star in the upcoming comedy, Young Adult, directed by Jason Reitman (Thank You for Smoking, Juno). Theron will also star as Ravenna, the evil queen, opposite Kristen Stewart in the 2012 film Snow White and the Huntsman.
