After weeks of speculation about the possible return of Sex and the City to the big screen or another television series, the mystery is finally over.
In an interview with Parade magazine published last weekend, actress Sarah Jessica Parker, 46, confirmed that a third Sex and the City film is a distinct possibility for 2012.
When asked if there was “any chance for a third Sex and the City movie,” Parker answered affirmatively, if a little coyly.
“There is. I know what the story is. It’s a small story, but I think it should be told. The question is, what’s the right time to tell it?” said the actress who played Carrie Bradshaw in the television series and the first two films.
In the meantime, Parker can be seen on the big screen starring in the comedy film adaptation I Don’t Know How She Does It due out September 16, and the ensemble romantic-comedy New Year’s Eve opening on December 9.
