Rumors are circulating that Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have decided to cancel the launch of their fashion collections for U.S. department store Kohl’s expected next month – based on reports from celebrity TV show Extra.
Kohl’s stores have yet to confirm or deny the rumor, however last month, the former couple suggested they would move forward with the agreement they signed with Kohl’s last November to launch two separate collections of clothing and accessories this fall.
According to a statement from Kohl’s, "The Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony brands have always been positioned as two separate, distinctive collections that offer high-quality contemporary style for men and women, and we look forward to a successful September launch."
Last November, during happier times, the couple revealed new collections for sportswear, shoes, dresses, clothes and handbags, with future plans to include a home décor line. It remains to be seen whether the stars will actually cancel each collection, due out September 7, or if they will simply launch their lines separately.
The ex-couple reportedly remain committed to their Latin talent TV show Q’Viva! The Chosen. The official website still reads: “Leading the journey…the world’s most iconic Latin American couple, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony…”
