Although she just gave birth to her sixth child on July 23, Lauryn Hill is already preparing to take the stage on September 6, for the Montreal stop of the Rock The Bells tour.
Rapper NAS joins Ms. Hill on the bill along with special guests AZ, DJ Premier and Pete Rock.
Hill first rose to stardom alongside Wyclef Jean as a member of The Fugees, and has gone on to become a prolific and successful solo artist. Her 1998 debut, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill – which the singer will perform in its entirety for Rock the Bells – earned her 10 Grammy nominations and five award statues, including the prestigious Album of the Year.
American-born, Grammy-award winning NAS will perform his 1994 smash debut Illmatic in its entirety as well.
Tickets for the show go on sale today (August 5) at noon, and range from $62.25 to $98.
