Avril Lavigne models her Abbey Dawn collection

Singer appears in teaser image from spring 2012 campaign.

Singer Avril Lavigne has released a sneak peek at her upcoming Abbey Dawn spring 2012 ad campaign, reports Coco Perez.

The clothing line – which is designed by Lavigne herself – is named for a childhood nickname given to the singer by her father.

In the newest print ad, Lavigne poses in what looks like a dirty, back hallway of a nightclub. Wearing the line’s After Dark Dress with torn black hose and Pretty Please Platform Booties, she strikes a casual pose leaning up against one of the black walls. Her hair is left down and tousled, and her eye makeup is heavy and black.

Lavigne has recently been making an effort to expand her line, which launched in 2008, with an assortment of printed Ts and hoodies. Today, the Abbey Dawn label also includes dresses, skirts, swimwear and a limited men’s line.

"OMG, been so busy working on getting new pieces and styles for you," Lavigne wrote on the label’s official blog earlier this year. "I hope you heart all of the new stuff. Thanks a ton for your support. We will be adding more new stuff for you soon!"

The label will continue to grow and is expected to launch a broader lifestyle collection this spring featuring denim, handbags, footwear and eyewear, a wider array of dresses and skirts and its first full men’s collection.
