Jennifer Lopez still open to idea of love

Performer says she still believes in love despite break-up of her third marriage.

Despite having just ended her third marriage, American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez is still optimistic about love, the entertainer told Vanity Fair.

"This was the hardest decision I’ve ever had to face," Lopez revealed. "I really wanted this family to work. That was my biggest dream, and I worked hard at it. We both did. Sometimes it doesn’t work – and that’s sad. But I remain an eternal optimist about love. I believe in love… It’s still my biggest dream."

The singer recently announced that she was splitting from fellow musician Marc Antony, her third husband and father of her three-year-old twins Emme and Max.

During the interview – which mostly took place prior to the official announcement of the break-up – Lopez admitted that she was having trouble with her marriage and said that it was at least partly due to spending so much time with the children and work.

"We had the first three years of our marriage just for us," she explained. "I wasn’t working, it was mainly about him. Then we got pregnant. Then it became about the kids. And then I started working again."
