Despite the flurry of speculation surrounding the tragic passing of British singer Amy Winehouse, autopsy results have failed to provide a conclusive cause of death.
The Grammy award-winning Rehab star – whose struggles with substance abuse were far from private – was found dead in her home on July 23.
A police statement said her body was not surrounded by any sort of drugs or paraphernalia.
Friends and family attended a private funeral held today (July 26) in London for the 27-year-old Winehouse. Parents Mitch and Janis were in attendance, as were Amy’s boyfriend Reg Traviss and friends, including Kelly Osbourne and music producer Mark Ronson.
A spokesperson for the family revealed that the ceremony was carried out as quickly as possible in accordance with Jewish tradition. A public funeral for the multi-platinum-selling singer will reportedly not take place until the official cause of death has been announced.
