Less than 24 hours after saying they might be launching a second single from their collaborative album Watch the Throne, music mogul-rappers Jay-Z and Kanye West debuted Otis on New York radio show Hot 97, reports MTV.
After launching the first single H.A.M. earlier this year, Otis precedes the August 1 arrival of one of the most anticipated albums of the year, ever since the two rappers initially confirmed they were working together on five or six tracks.
Soon enough, they realized that the collaboration was a fertile one, and unveiled the artwork for the 16-track full-length album Watch the Throne.
This latest single samples Otis Redding’s1966 smash-hit cover of the 1932 love song Try a Little Tenderness.
