Gwen Stefani to design kidswear for Target

Harajuku Mini coming soon from L.A.M.B. designer.

Pop singer, fashion designer and mother of two, Gwen Stefani, 41, has signed on with North American retailer Target to design a new line of affordable kids’ clothes called Harajuku Mini, reports Coco Perez.

Often photographed with her two little fashionably-dressed boys Kingston, 5, and Zuma, 2, and rocker husband Gavin Rossdale, the style icon is already the fashion designer for her L.A.M.B. brand of upscale women’s wear, and Harajuku Lovers line of fragrances and accessories.

Now the No Doubt frontwoman has partnered with Target to make her brand of kids’ fashions available both in store and online.

"Harajuku Mini is a dream come true," Stefani told WWD. "I’ve always wanted to do a cool children’s fashion line inspired by the supercute and playful kid’s clothing you find in Japan.

“Target has given me the creative freedom to design kid’s clothing that is different than most anything you usually see out there with great quality, attention to detail and most of all, available at amazing prices."

The fashion collection for infants, children and young teens will be launch in two phases, this November and next January.

Gwen Stefani’s Harajuku Mini children’s fashions will retail from $3.99 to $29.99 at Target.
