Avril Lavigne touring Canada in October

Black Star Tour to promote 4th album Goodbye Lullabye.

Currently in South America and heading for Europe, Canadian pop singer Avril Lavigne, plans to return to her homeland this autumn, according to dates listed on her website.

Born in Belleville, Ontario, and raised in Napanee just outside of Kingston, the 26-year-old pop star plans to visit 16 cities so far, beginning October 1 in Victoria, British Columbia.

Promoting her latest album Goodbye Lullabye, which debuted in March, the singer will spend October touring the country.

After the kick-off in Victoria, stops are planned for Vancouver (3), Prince George (6), Kamloops (6), Kelowna (8), Edmonton (10), Calgary (11), Regina (13), Winnipeg (14), Sudbury (16), Ottawa (17), Moncton (19), Halifax (20), London (22) and Toronto (24).

The last concert on Canadian soil – so far – is Montreal on October 25, before possibly adding some dates in Atlantic Canada, or crossing the border and heading south for a series of U.S. dates not yet announced.
