Pop country singer Taylor Swift is launching her own fragrance, Wonderstruck, in collaboration with Elizabeth Arden, reports People.
"Wearing perfume is such a unique way to create memories. Like songs, a scent can take you back and allow you to relive a moment in time," explained Swift, whose signature fragrance will debut in North America this October.
The fruity, floral scent has sweet top notes of freesia, raspberry and apple blossom over more intimate base notes of golden amber and sandalwood. The fragrance also contains notes of vanilla, honeysuckle and white hibiscus.
"I share personal life experiences through my music, and my fragrance will allow me to share these experiences with my fans in a completely different and new way."
Everything about the new fragrance is drawn from Swift’s own life, from the scent – inspired by her favorite memories – to the name.
"I wrote the lyric, ‘I’m wonderstruck, blushing all the way home,’ for the song ‘Enchanted’ about the first time you meet someone," the star added.
"A fragrance can help shape someone’s first impression and memory of you. It’s exciting to think that ‘Wonderstruck’ will play a role in creating some of those memories."
The signature scent comes in a round purple bottle, adorned with golden charms on a slender chain. The charms – which include a dove, cage and a geometric Moravian star – were chosen by Swift herself, and each package is stamped with a gold 13 – Swift’s lucky number.
