Building on the success of its flagship facility in Ohio, the Barkley Pet Hotel chain has opened a new luxury hotel and day spa for animals in Westlake Village near Los Angeles, California, reports Le Blog Luxe.
Dogs, cats and even exotic pets can stay in style at this full-service pet hotel, which offers both overnight accommodations and doggie day camp.
Amenities include a spa with ‘paw-dicures’ and grooming, a gourmet bedtime biscuit, chew-toy rental, bedtime story service and even limo rides. Guests can also enjoy an ice cream social or pool party at Barkley Beach.
"The new 23,000-square-foot Barkley Pet Hotel & Day Spa allows owners to choose from a variety of spacious overnight accommodations for their pets – ranging from traditional guest rooms to luxury suites complete with flat screen televisions, web cam access and leather furniture," explains the website.
While guests are provided twice daily with kibble, the more demanding gourmand can also opt for room service: steak for dogs or sushi for cats – and even a turkey dinner on the holidays.
Kitty cat condominiums are $33.50 a night, while dogs have a selection of accommodations ranging from $44.50 a night to $72.50 a night.
