Californian band Red Hot Chili Peppers has confirmed once and for all that the first single from their next album, I’m With You, will drop next Monday, July 18, reports HitFix.
Entitled The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie, the single has its own Facebook events page to tease fans with song information. The band will provide a variety of details as the launch date approaches.
The Red Hot Chili Peppers’ next album will arrive August 30. This will be their first new music in five years since Stadium Arcadium came out in 2006.
The album, produced by Rick Rubin, is also the first since the departure of guitarist John Frusciante. His replacement, Josh Klinghoffer, brings a whole new element to the group’s sound according to the producer.
