Shortly after giving birth to her first child in May, Academy Award-winning actress Marion Cotillard, 35, was back at work within a few weeks, looking fabulous in a new Dior advertising campaign, reports Elle.
Shot in Paris at the beginning of June by photographer Mikael Jansson, the ads showcase Cotillard and the purses in soft, ethereal light. From the look of the campaign, the new mom was back in fighting form, showing off her svelte figure and chic French style.
The beleaguered French design house released the first images of the beauty sporting the distinctive chain-handled purses. The images will debut in magazines in September.
The collaboration between Marion Cotillard and Dior goes back to 2008 when the actress made her modeling debut for the luxury brand as the face of several fashion lines, including Lady Dior bags and the 2009 spring -summer collection.
Cotillard’s film career is also doing well. She is starring in Christopher Nolan’s new thriller The Dark Knight Rises in theaters next July, and upcoming films Contagion and Low Life.
Since 2007, Cotillard has been in a relationship with French actor and director Guillaume Canet, 38, with whom she starred in 2003’s Love Me if You Dare. The couple reportedly prefers to live a simple lifestyle, and are often spotted in cafés and shopping together in Paris. The birth of their first child, Marcel, was announced on May 20.
