Pop star Ke$ha has been extremely busy writing for her next album – she’s penned almost 200 songs so far, the singer revealed to Digital Spy.
"I have so many songs! Songs will leak and I don’t even remember writing them. I’ve written about 200," she said.
"I’m writing constantly about all my crazy experiences across the world, so I have a lot of music I’ve already written. I haven’t turned that material into a record yet, but it’s definitely coming along."
The new album may have a different edge than her breakthrough debut record, Animal (2010), and its follow-up LP Cannibal (2011). The pop star admits she wants to experiment with the sound and has been listening to different artists for inspiration.
"I definitely want the next record to be experimental and I would love to play with all the different sounds of the music I listen to," she revealed.
The singer added that she would like to have some "dirty guitar" and "elements of blues" on the new record, citing Led Zeppelin, AC/DC and Iggy Pop as some of her influences.
