The secret wedding of British actors Rachel Weisz, 41, and Daniel Craig, 43, last Friday (June 24), has been confirmed by a representative for the actress, reports Us Weekly.
The couple exchanged vows in upstate New York at a very private ceremony. The only wedding guests were the actors’ children – Craig’s daughter Ella, 18, and Weisz’s son Henry, 5 – and two friends of the couple.
The two met in 1994, according to the Telegraph, when they appeared in a play together. Sixteen years later, they began filming upcoming horror movie Dream House, which opens September 30.
Last December, the actress was seen with Craig enjoying a romantic weekend in the English countryside, and since then, they’ve been seen together several times.
Weisz and director Darren Aronofsky (Black Swan) separated last November, after nine years together. They have a son Henry. Craig was married to actress Fiona Louden from 1992 to 1994, and they have a daughter, Ella. He had been dating producer Satsuki Mitchell from 2004 until 2010.
