New details are emerging about the itinerary of Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, reports Us magazine. From June 30 to July 8, Canada will welcome royal newlyweds Prince William and his bride Catherine, as they embark on their first overseas tour as a married couple.

Starting in the national capital region, the couple will make stops with in Ottawa, Gatineau and Montreal from June 30 to July 2. They will attend Canada Day celebrations July 1 on Parliament Hill in Ottawa, which will include performances by Great Big Sea, Sam Roberts Band, and Jenn Grant.

On July 3, the Duke and Duchess will travel to Quebec City to visit Maison Dauphin, an organization that helps homeless youth. The couple will then attend a community event in Fort-de-Levis, which is celebrating three anniversaries: the 375th anniversary of the Lauzon ‘seigneurie,’ the 150th anniversary of the founding of Lévis, and the 10th anniversary of the new city of Lévis.

In Summerside, PEI, on July 4, the couple will view a search and rescue demonstration, something that Prince William is quite familiar with in his job as a sea rescue pilot with the Royal Air Force. On July 8, the couple will attend the launch of the Calgary Stampede Parade in Alberta.

William and Catherine are taking the trip "in hopes that, upon their departure, they will come to regard Canada as their second home – a term of endearment often used by The Queen to describe her special bond of affection for and pride in this country," said a rep from the Department of Canadian Heritage.

"[The tour] will be a double act, but there will be occasions when the couple will separate, such as walkabouts," said press secretary Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton.

Her Royal Highness is rumored to be packing about 40 outfits for her North American trip. Along with hairstylist James Pryce (he did Kate’s wedding-day hair) and an administrative assistant, the couple will be traveling with an entourage of seven.
