Radiohead launches new series of remixes

Remixed tracks from The King of Limbs to be issued on 12-inch vinyl.

This summer, English alt rockers Radiohead are planning a series of remixes from their recent album, The King of Limbs, reports Clash Music.

Beginning July 4, the remixes will be released only on 12-inch vinyl in select independent record stores and online through the band’s official website, with a .WAV file available for download.

The first record will feature the tracks Little by Little as remixed by Caribou, and Lotus Flower remixed by Jacques Greene. Already the album art has been released, featuring simple, iconic imagery of white squiggles on a black background.

There are rumors that one of the future remixes will be done by Los Angeles DJ Flying Lotus, after he said in an interview that he was working on something for the band.

The King of Limbs is Radiohead’s eighth studio album. It was released for download on February 18, a day earlier than expected, and came out on physical CD and vinyl a month later, on March 28.
