Trace Cyrus lets Miley sing on his album

No sibling rivalry in Trace’s new band Ashland High.

After first seeing his stepfather, and then his little sister enjoy global fame and fortune – each in their respective era – now Trace Cyrus, 22, stepson of Billy Ray Cyrus and big brother to pop star Miley Cyrus, is planning to launch his own album.

After the group he was playing in Metro Station broke up, Trace Cyrus formed a new group called Ashland High.

While Metro Station was definitely rock, the path taken by the much-tattooed Trace for Ashland High is very electronic, as evidenced by the song French Kiss, which debuted on his MySpace page at the same time he announced the creation of what appears to be, for now, a one-man band.

The artist, who plans to launch his debut album soon, responded to fans on Twitter: "To all of u asking. Yes me and Miley r (are) planning on doing a song for my new Ashland High album! The song is crazy! Miley will kill the chorus."
