Barry Gibb shares unseen Michael Jackson video

The two musicians worked together on the song All in Your Name.

Eldest brother of the famous Bee Gees, Barry Gibb worked with Michael Jackson in 2002, and has recently posted a brief video online that shows the two of them in the recording studio, reports Gibson.

Barry Gibb’s song All in Your Name featuring Jackson was never released, and Gibb’s website introduces the video under the heading, “New Material From Barry Coming Soon.”

“Michael Jackson and I were the dearest of friends, that’s simply what it was,” the 64-year-old singer wrote on his website. “We gravitated towards the same kind of music and we loved collaborating and he was the easiest person to write with.”

“‘All in Your Name’ is in fact the message that Michael wanted to send out to all of his fans all over the world that he did it all for them and for the pure love of music,” added Gibb, saying he would always treasure the experience.

Over two hours of footage was shot by his daughter Ashley Gibb at Middle Ear Studios in Miami, Florida in December 2002, however it’s unclear if or when the collaboration would be released.

Last December, the launch of the album Michael after Jackson’s death in 2009 created controversy as some fans and colleagues felt the release of unfinished work went against the pop singer’s well-known perfectionism.
