Beyoncé launches video teaser for new song

20-second clip of Run the World (Girls) now online.

Pop singer Beyoncé continues her promotional campaign to support the release of her upcoming album with the unveiling of a 20-second clip from the video of the first single, a girl-power anthem titled Run the World (Girls), reports MTV.

In the teaser clip, there is no sign of the Crazy in Love singer. Instead there is a bevy of beautiful, chic – and supposedly post-apocalyptic – model types sashaying around in skimpy outfits.

The video was filmed by Francis Lawrence last month in the California desert, however no launch date has been announced.

"It’ll be big, it’ll probably be one of the bigger Beyoncé music videos ever done," he said. "And, I can say that I think the song is unbelievable. I think the video’s gonna be really fun and cool and different for her."

A great deal of mystery surrounds the singer’s next album, for which Beyoncé said she wanted to come up with a new sound.
