When Jennifer Lopez began to enjoy success with On the Floor, the first single from her new album Love? due out May 3, fellow American Idol judge and Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler could easily see the impact of appearing on an immensely popular television show.
Tyler made ??his way to the studio, sans Aerosmith, to record the single, [It] Feels So Good, which will launch Monday, May 9. The singer is also filming a video for the single, which will premiere on a May episode of American Idol.
Last November, Tyler released another single Love Lives for the soundtrack of Japanese sci-fi flick Space Battleship Yamato.
Although Tyler has expressed interest in a full solo album, he still plans to join Aerosmith bandmates in the studio this summer to continue recording the group’s follow-up to 2004’s Honkin ‘on Bobo.
