Two of the most beautiful voices in America, Cee Lo Green and Christina Aguilera, are among the judges of a new reality singing competition called The Voice on NBC.
To promote the talent show that searches for the best voice in the United States, Green and Aguilera, accompanied by two other judges, Adam Levine, lead singer of Maroon 5, playing drums, and country singer Blake Shelton on guitar, performed the hit song Crazy by Cee Lo Green group Gnarls Barkley.
Their cover version was the focus of a 12- minute advertising campaign last Tuesday (April 19) on NBC to help explain the show’s concept to viewers, in which singing coaches cannot see the singers who are competing to be their protégés. Without a clue as to appearance or age, the coaches must rely solely on ‘the voice.’
This new version of Crazy, in which all four judges take turns singing, could likely end up on a compilation of the show’s highlights.
