Beyoncé’s new single leaked online

Unofficial version of Girls (Who Run the World) now streaming.

A version of Beyoncé’s newest single, Girls (Who Run the World) has leaked online ahead of its official release, reports HitFix.

Expected to be the first single off her upcoming album due out in June, the girl-power anthem uses samples from the driving- beat dance club hit Pon de Floor by Major Lazer.

There’s no word yet on when the single will see official release, but according to its director, the video is already done.

"I just shot a Beyoncé video at the beginning of this last week," director Francis Lawrence told MTV on Sunday (April 17). "The video’s for the song ‘Girls’ — it’s off her new album. She would probably have me shot if I said anything… Some stuff spilled out, but she wasn’t happy about it, so I’ve been sworn to secrecy."

Lawrence also directed Lady Gaga’s music video for Bad Romance, which went on to win a 2009 MTV Video Music Award.

"I hope the same for Beyoncé, but I don’t know if that’s gonna happen. It is a fantastic song, so I really hope that song catches for her, and I think the video’s gonna be really fun and cool and different for her," he added.
