Gorillaz release The Fall CD.

Today, fans can finally get their hands on the newest release from virtual band Gorillaz. The Fall was freely available to fan club members through the band’s website on Christmas Day, but is only now available on CD. Over a 32-day span of touring, Albarn used an iPad to chronicle their progress in song, and described the album as being "…like a diary… It feels like a journey through America."

U.K. hardcore band Lower Than Atlantis released their second studio album, World Record today. "When it came to working on the songs, we all kind of knew where we were going," explains frontman Mike Duce. "We’d already demo’d the album live and then in a studio before recording the real thing so we knew exactly what we were playing and how we were playing it."

Also due out today, Australian singer-songwriter Lenka releases her sophomore album, Two, a follow-up to her 2008 self-titled debut album.

The musical-comedy television series Glee issued another compilation album, Glee: The Music Presents The Warblers; and classic American rock group the Steve Miller Band releases Let Your Hair Down, an album of blues covers that follows their 2010 cover album Bingo!
