French cosmetics company Yves Rocher is getting ready for summer with the introduction of two new skincare lines, a botanical self-tanner and refreshing after-sun care.
To help women achieve a golden glow without damage from the sun’s rays, the Botanical Care Self-tanners collection arrives this May.
The line includes a shimmering gel for face and body, an easy-application spray-on mist with a multi-position head, a tinted and shimmery cream specifically for legs, and a special self-tanner for the face, which can be used instead of day cream.
The self-tanner works by oxidizing the surface of the skin, the resulting reaction causing a tint which lasts for up to five days. The tan fades gradually as the outer layers of the skin naturally slough away.
For sun damage, the Protectyl Végétal After-Sun collection includes three new products to help soothe and rehydrate skin, available in stores in June. The cooling gel, suitable for face and body, provides some relief from feelings of tightness and heat, while giving skin some much-needed moisture. A 150 mL tube costs $14. The line also includes a gentle milk moisturizing lotion, and an anti-wrinkle hydrating balm for the face.
