New luxury hotel in Boston goes to the dogs

Fenway Bark provides upscale accommodations and spa services for pets.

Discriminating pet owners visiting Boston will want to check out Fenway Bark, the city’s newest luxury hotel — for pets, reports Le Blog Luxe.

Named after Boston’s famous baseball stadium, Fenway Park, the pet hotel can accommodate up to 200 dogs and cats in their own private suites, starting at $56 a night. If the suite isn’t opulent enough, for $150 a night, Fido can upgrade to the Owner’s Box — the best room in the house.

The 72-square-foot luxury room comes with custom-made beds of orthopedic foam, unlimited Skype sessions to keep in touch with a loving owner, and bottled water upon request.

The full-service hotel also offers a wide range of play and spa activities for pooches. The large playground facilities, which include a splash pool and antimicrobial indoor grass, are supervised by trained "pack leaders" who are certified in Pet First Aid and CPR. Pets can also indulge in healing massage and full grooming services provided onsite.
