The W Hotels Group has officially announced plans for a regal new facility in Mumbai. The architectural blueprint is inspired by the traditional Indian greeting, "namaste,” said with hands together and a humble bow.
Consisting of two towers that meet in the middle, much like folded hands, the structure is envisioned as more than a simple hotel. The Namaste Tower will incorporate office and commercial space with a total of 62 floors; boasting elegant restaurants, bars, spas, and of course, an unparalleled, panoramic view of the city.
The opulent tower, slated for completion in 2015 will be covered in decorative, complex patterns, much like the henna drawings found on the hands and feet of Indian brides and grooms.
