Ines de la Fressange, French model, and designer of fashion and perfumes, also named to the International Best Dressed List Hall of Fame in 1998, is the new L’Oreal ambassador, reports Leblogluxe.com.

De la Fressange, 53, has worked with several top names in fashion, including Thierry Mugler, Karl Lagerfeld and Chanel.

"Ines de la Fressange has that divine grace, this very contemporary way of being a woman that is very free, unexpected, and entrancing,” said Cyril Chapuy, general manager at L’Oreal Paris. “Model, mother, designer, her life is incredibly full and accomplished. I’m pleased to say she brings an irresistible ‘je ne sais quoi’ to the brand.”

De la Fressange, responds in kind. "I am very pleased to be working with L’Oreal Paris. Beauty is a true source of freedom. And it’s true: ‘we’re worth it’!” she said noting the brand’s famous slogan.

As the latest face of L’Oreal Paris, she follows in the footsteps of many celebrities, including, more recently, the Paralympic champion, model, and actress Aimée Mullins.

De la Fressange’s daughter, Nine Urso, is following in her famous mother’s footsteps as the new face of Bottega Venetta’s debut perfume.

In the 1980s, Ines De la Fressange became the first model to sign an exclusive modeling contract with an haute couture fashion house, Chanel, and became the muse of fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld. De la Fressange is famous in her homeland for lending her likeness in the creation of a bust of Marianne, a famous symbol of the French Republic.
