Today (March 29) is the official release date of her new album, and pop singer Britney Spears appeared on ABC’s Good Morning America to promote Femme Fatale, reports Billboard.
The Hold It Against Me hitmaker also announced she will tour this summer with Enrique Iglesias. During the first North American leg, Spears will tour 26 cities, starting with Sacramento, California, on June 17 and wrapping up in Toronto, Ontario on August 13.
Spears’ last tour in 2009, Circus, grossed $120 million for 84 concerts in front of 1.3 million fans.
Iglesias is currently burning up the charts with Tonight (I’m Loving You), and is on tour in Europe to promote of his latest album Euphoria, his first to feature songs in both Spanish and English.
He may have dropped out of the tour just hours after it was announced, with Billboard reporting that the production costs for a tour of two such high-profile artists would be too high. Tour promoter Live Nation has declined to comment, and further details have yet to emerge.
