Radiohead delivers free newspaper to record stores

Asks fans to submit photos reading The Universal Sigh in unusual locations.

To promote the physical release of their new album, The King of Limbs, English alt rock band Radiohead will be giving away a free newspaper, The Universal Sigh, at select record stores around the globe, reports Consequence of Sound.

The newspaper has its own website, which provides details on where and how to obtain a copy of the publication when it is released alongside the new album on Monday (March 28) in the U.K. and Tuesday (March 29) in North America.

"To commemorate this momentous occasion, Radiohead have produced a newspaper which will be given away, free, gratis, without cost to the consumer by accredited vendors from a multitude of locations worldwide!" explains the website.

As well as a listing of participating retailers, The Universal Sigh website also invites fans to submit photographs of themselves "reading the newspaper in locations diverse and unusual."

The King of Limbs LP was released early as a surprise digital download last month, and is now finding its way onto store shelves.
