Album artwork for Lady Gaga’s upcoming album, Born This Way, appears to have been leaked on an unofficial Lady Gaga blog, reports Rolling Stone.
Primarily in black and white with touches of red, the back cover features the names of the album’s 14 tracks. Gaga’s first single, and the title track, Born This Way, sits at number one, with the upcoming second single, Judas, as the third track on the album.
Although it is possible that the cover art is the work of a dedicated fan, with the new album due out May 23, excitement is running high.
"I would call it avant-garde techno rock. There’s a lot of rock influences on the album, but not in a ‘This is a rock music record’ kind of way," Gaga revealed during the Musicians@Google series yesterday (March 23), about what fans can expect to hear on her Born This Way album.
"It actually is quite steadfast in that it is an exploration in electronic music and in techno sonics. But I have sort of created a genre of metal dance techno pop music with a lot of rock anthemic choruses because that is the music that I love."
