Keira Knightley stars in Chanel short film

Pirates beauty races through Paris on a motorcycle.

Pirates of the Caribbean star Keira Knightley’s promotional short film for Chanel’s Coco Mademoiselle perfume debuted online yesterday (March 20), reports Luxuo.

The three-minute ad was directed by movie director Joe Wright and depicts the British actress as a sultry fashion model on a shoot.

Over a cover of James Brown’s 1966 hit It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World, the short opens with Knightley waking up in bed. She dons a camel-colored catsuit and hops onto a matching Ducati motorcycle to race through the streets of Paris in order to reach Chanel headquarters.

The photoshoot begins as usual, but quickly gets derailed as sparks fly between Knightley and her on-screen photographer. He sends everyone else away while she performs a slow striptease for the camera.

To find out how it ends after Knightley’s character tells the photographer to "Lock the door," you can view the full ad here.

The three-minute short will be cut down into 30-second and 60-second television ads, and the accompanying print campaign has already been launched.

In 2007, Knightley paired up with director Wright for a previous Chanel short, and has worked with him on Hollywood films Pride & Prejudice (2006) and Atonement (2007).

The actress has been a brand ambassador for Chanel’s Coco Mademoiselle since 2006, following in the footsteps of Kate Moss and Nicole Kidman.
