Miley Cyrus charity auction on eBay

Young actress-singer donates clothes to raise funds for charity social network.

Young actress-singer Miley Cyrus is cleaning out her closet for a good cause. The Can’t Be Tamed singer has set up a charity auction on eBay, offering clothes and autographed items, to raise money for her social network charity, reports Coco Perez.

Cyrus created ‘Get Ur Good On’ in partnership with Youth Service America as a way to bring kids together to do good in their community.

To help fund the project, the pop star is selling clothes, shoes, accessories, and autographed CDs and DVDs with 100 percent of proceeds going to Get Ur Good On. She hopes to educate her fans about the importance of getting involved and doing their share in their communities.

Get Ur Good On offers an online community for youth to discover what needs fixing in the world, information on how to get involved, and showcases their work in schools and communities through photos, videos, and blogs.

The site links Cyrus’ star power with youth voice, giving kids an opportunity to demonstrate how one person can make a difference.

Founded in 1986, Youth Service America supports a global culture of engaged youth, ages 5 to 25, committed to a lifetime of service, learning, leadership, and achievement.
