This week, French cosmetics giant Lancôme announced British actress Emma Watson as their newest brand ambassador, and already the Harry Potter star is hard at work on a photoshoot in Paris, reports Coco Perez.
The shoot for Lancôme’s new Trésor Midnight Rose fragrance was photographed by Mario Testino, and the star drew a crowd of onlookers when she took to the streets of Paris in a variety of fashions.
As the new face of the cosmetics company, Watson follows in the footsteps of Julia Roberts, Kate Winslet and Penelope Cruz.
"It starts with an L and ends with an E. I’m sure you have guessed the new face of Lancôme is me!" Watson revealed through Twitter after leading her followers through a series of clues over the past week.
"Thanks to her charm, romanticism and her incredible modernity, Emma Watson has become the icon of her generation. We are delighted by this new collaboration with Emma who brings a fresh spirit to Lancôme," said Lancôme president Youcef Nabi.
Only last week, Watson announced that she would be postponing her studies at Brown University in order to focus on her career.
"I’ve decided to take a bit of time off to completely finish my work on Harry Potter (the last one comes out this summer) and to focus on my other professional and acting projects. I will still be working towards my degree … it’s just going to take me a semester or two longer than I thought," the star wrote on her website.
