Rapper P. Diddy is the richest artist in hip-hop with an estimated net worth of $475 million, reports Female First.
As well as his recording career, the rap star supplements his income through his Sean John clothing line, Bad Boy Worldwide record label, and Ciroc vodka brand – which is actually responsible for his largest profit margin.
The list, compiled by Forbes, shows Jay-Z running a close second with $450 million. Thanks to strong album sales, tour revenue, his 40/40 nightclub chain and his share of the New Jersey Nets basketball team, Jay-Z was the highest-earning hip-hop artist in 2010, bringing in $63 million dollars. Diddy, by comparison, brought in only $30 million in 2010.
In a distant third, Dr. Dre was worth $125 million, while rapper 50 Cent and producer Bryan Birdman Williams, founder of Cash Money records, rounded out the top five with an estimated worth of about $100 million each.
