Radiohead already back in studio

Fans hope for sequel to recent The King of Limbs album.

For a band as prolific as British alt rock band Radiohead, the eight-song 37-minute The King of Limbs album was surprisingly brief – although it debuted online to positive reception last month.

The band is already back in the studio working on new material, reports Clash Music. Fans may be hoping for a sequel to The King of Limbs, since multi-instrumentalist Jonny Greenwood told BBC radio that Radiohead is working on new material.

"We’re rehearsing a bit and just playing and making music and trying to work out what to do really,” said Greenwood. "We have stopped planning ahead very far, just making music and wondering where to go next and what to do.”

In addition to his Radiohead commitment, Greenwood is increasingly in demand to score film soundtracks, particularly since his success on There Will Be Blood. He has recently agreed to compose the score for a new film called We Need to Talk About Kevin.
