Giorgio Armani Beauty has unveiled the first images of Megan Fox’s newest Armani campaign, reports Coco Perez.
In the new ads for the spring 2011 campaign, Fox poses with a seductive pout as she shows off Armani’s new lipstick and makeup. One ad shows Fox applying a dark red hue to her lips, lipstick held aloft in one hand. Another ad features her famous face made-up in dark blue eyeshadow, with hair dramatically swept over one eye.
As the new face of Giorgio Armani, Fox first signed on with Armani last December, and her sultry campaign for Armani Jeans and Emporio Armani underwear collection debuted last month.
Explaining why he chose the 24-year-old star, Armani said, "She embodies the spirit of the women of today: free, confident and seductive. Her beautiful features reveal femininity, sensuality and strength."
Fox’s acting career began in 2001, when she landed a recurring character on the ABC sitcom Hope & Faith. However it was her 2007 role in Transformers that launched her to international fame. Since then, she has become known as a sex symbol, and was ranked number five on Maxim‘s Hot 100 list for 2010.
The upscale Italian fashion house was founded in 1975 by Giorgio Armani and his partner Sergio Galeotti. Today, the brand has grown to design and manufacture everything from haute couture to home interiors.
