Kate Moss is Dior Addict

British supermodel promotes new lipstick line.

After modeling for several brands recently, including Calvin Klein, Isabelle Marant, Yves Saint Laurent and Longchamp handbags, British supermodel Kate Moss is now the face of Christian Dior’s new line of lipsticks, Dior Addict, reports Elle.

As a friend of Dior’s artistic director of Dior, John Galliano, Moss has been the face of a range of accessories for the brand. Her newest campaign promotes the Dior Addict lipstick campaign, with the slogan “Be Iconic.”

In addition to modeling for the campaign, which was shot by photographer David Sims, Moss will also star in a short film called Be Iconic. Haus of Gaga director Jonas Åkerlund followed Moss around for a day filming her during Dior’s spring-summer 2011 ready-to-wear fashion show. Dior Addict lipsticks will be available on Februrary 28 in 44 shades, and retail for around $46 U.S.

It is somewhat ironic that Moss, 37, is representing a fashion line called “Addict,” since the supermodel caused a scandal in 2005 when her picture appeared on the front of a newspaper reportedly showing her snorting cocaine.

She was dropped by some of her high profile clients, and quickly issued an apology: “I take full responsibility for my actions. I also accept that there are various personal issues that I need to address and have started taking the difficult, yet necessary, steps to resolve them. I want to apologize to all of the people I have let down because of my behavior, which has reflected badly on my family, friends, co-workers, business associates and others.”
