Rihanna announces North American tour

Toronto is among the first of seven shows in North America.

Yesterday (February 9) on her website, pop singer Rihanna announced she’s bringing her Loud tour to North America this summer, including a stop in Toronto on June 7. The artist is currently performing in Australia, and her international status allows her to easily fill stadiums around the world.

The singer will finish her Australian tour on March 12, and then arrive in the U.S. for a concert in Baltimore on June 6, and in Toronto on June 7. So far, that the singer has only listed seven dates concluding in Uniondale, New York on July 23.

Since her first European gig isn’t until September 29 in Belfast, the entertainer still has a couple of months free. Canadian fans remain hopeful, since her summer calendar is hardly booked, that more Canadian dates will be added to the tour.

Rihanna has promised her fans an extraordinary show with new costumes and stage design. “We’re creating an incredible ride with this tour. I’m excited to get out on the road and share my new music from this album,” said pop star regarding her latest album Loud.
