For months now, rumours that theatrical pop star Lady Gaga’s next album is in a class by itself, has had fans eagerly anticipating Born This Way. And not only are the fans impatient, but so is Gaga herself.
The singer decided to move up the release date of her first single. Originally scheduled for release on Sunday, February 13, Born This Way will instead hit the airwaves this Friday, February 11.
"Can’t wait any longer, single coming Friday," Gaga wrote on Twitter yesterday (February 7) to tell fans the news. On the song’s chorus, she sings, "I’m beautiful in my way/ ‘Cause God makes no mistakes/ I’m on the right track, baby/ I was born this way/ Don’t hide yourself in regret/ Just love yourself and you’re set/ I’m on the right track baby/ I was born this way."
Famous blogger Perez Hilton had the privilege of hearing the song and he praised it according to MTV News. In his glowing review, he said, “…It is a smash. It is one of the best songs of Gaga’s career."
