Rod Stewart and Jeff Beck together again

Former members of Jeff Beck Group working together again.

Over a shared a lunch just before Christmas last year, Rod Stewart and Jeff Beck decided they wanted to work together again, reports Clash Music.

In the 1960s, before joining the band The Faces, Rod Stewart was a singer in the Jeff Beck Group, a quartet in which Ron Wood also played, and who followed Stewart into the Faces before joining the greatest rock ‘ n ‘roll band in the world, the Rolling Stones.

For fun, in 1985, Stewart and Beck met up for a concert performance. Now, plans are more serious as they discuss the possibility of a full album. In an interview with Rolling Stone magazine, Stewart talked about the next stage of their collaboration: "He’s going to record some tracks with his band in February in San Francisco and send them over to me, so we’re making progress."

Recently completing his Songbook series of albums, it appears Rod Stewart is ready to rock again. He’s also joined forces with Stevie Nicks for one of the Heart & Soul Tour launching March 20 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
