Foo Fighters play new album at secret gig

Seattle rockers treated fans to a sneak peek at their new album.

Last Friday (January 28), Seattle rock band Foo Fighters showed up on stage at California bar for a surprise performance, and ran through the entire track list of their upcoming album, reports Spinner.

Recording for the as-yet-untitled album wrapped up on January 3, and last week the group teased their fans with online hints that would lead them to last Friday’s show.

After the opening act The Bronx performed, Dave Grohl and his band came on stage at Velvet Jones in Santa Barbara, and the singer then asked the crowd if they wanted to hear the band’s new album.

After the band played the whole album from start to finish, along with some older songs, Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl told fans: "See you next week," suggesting other impromptu performances are still to come.
