Arcade Fire to play New Orleans Jazz Festival

Concert headliners include Bon Jovi, Robert Plant, the Strokes, Wilco.

When it comes to partying, New Orleans is best known for Mardi Gras, however the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival is becoming increasingly popular, with more and more big-name acts.

Just one day after the Coachella festival in California unveiled its line-up, the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival announced their roster of performers.

Among the big names performing at the music festival held over two weekends in May: Arcade Fire, Bon Jovi, Robert Plant, Wilco, the Strokes, Willie Nelson, Lauryn Hill, Tom Jones, Jeff Beck, Kid Rock, The Decemberists and John Legend along with The Roots.

The 2011 New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival will be held from April 29 to May 1 and May 5 to 8.
