Hollywood hunk and Fast and Furious star Paul Walker, 37, has signed on with beauty products company Coty Prestige to be the new face of men’s fragrance Cool Water by Davidoff, reports Basenotes.
"Paul Walker is a natural choice to represent Davidoff Cool Water,” said Francoise Mariez at Coty Prestige. “He truly embodies the values of this legendary fragrance. Not only thanks to his personal commitment around oceans, but also for his intense energy, powerful masculinity and cool attitude that characterize him.”
Having studied marine biology, Paul Walker claims to have "a very intimate relationship with the ocean." His new agreement with the company means he will become the worldwide face of Cool Water.
The first TV commercial and print ads for the fragrance featuring the handsome actor will appear this summer in July. Walker follows in the footsteps of Lost actor, Josh Holloway, who became the face of Davidoff in 2007.
Cool Water perfume was introduced in 1988 by Davidoff, and is now a part of Coty Prestige. The perfumer, Pierre Bourdon, composed the scent with a blend of lavender, jasmine, oak moss, musk, sandalwood.
Coty, Inc. is the world’s largest fragrance company, and also a beauty products manufacturer of fragrances and cosmetics. The company has been instrumental in the creation of fragrances for designers and celebrities like Beyoncé Knowles, Céline Dion, Shania Twain, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and Jennifer Lopez.
