Luxury French fashion house Christian Dior has unveiled a preview of its new ad campaign starring actress Natalie Portman, reports People.
Although the campaign won’t officially kick off for another few months, Dior is offering a sneak peek at an ad for their new fragrance, Miss Dior Cherie, in which Portman poses wearing nothing but a black bow in her hair, matching the embellished bow on the perfume bottle.
Dior announced in June that Portman would be appearing in an advertising campaign for a new fragrance, but the name of the perfume was not revealed until last month.
As part of the campaign, Portman will also be appearing in commercials for Miss Dior Cherie. Directed by Sofia Coppola, the commercials are set to begin running in March.
The fashion house was founded in Paris in 1946 by French designer Christian Dior. The Miss Dior fragrance collection is nearly as old as the label itself, and is named in honour of the founder’s sister, Catherine Dior.
Portman, who recently announced that she is engaged to Black Swan choreographer Benjamin Millepied and expecting her first child, can next be seen on the silver screen alongside Ashton Kutcher in No Strings Attached, opening January 21. Also due out later this year, Portman stars in the fantasy comedy Your Highness and the superhero epic Thor.
