Yesterday (December 28), actress Reese Witherspoon, 34, announced her engagement to Hollywood agent, Jim Toth, 40, reports Us magazine.
The Oscar-winning actress began dating Toth in early February of this year. At the time, Toth was a talent agent working for the Creative Artists Agency, which represents Witherspoon; however, in September 2010, he was promoted to become one of the agency’s two heads of motion picture talent.
In an interview for the January 2011 issue of Glamour, Witherspoon said of her relationship with Toth, "what I’m finding out is that it’s very comfortable to be with somebody who understands my career, but doesn’t do what I do. He’s a great guy. He’s wonderful.”
The Legally Blonde star’s relationship with Jake Gyllenhaal ended in 2009. She split from actor Ryan Phillippe in 2006 after seven years of marriage; they have two children, Ava, 11, and Deacon, 7.
Witherspoon currently stars in the romantic comedy How Do You Know. She joins LeAnn Rimes, Natalie Portman, and Hugh Hefner, among the celebrities who have announced engagements in the last week.
