Kenzo releases limited edition holiday fragrance

FlowerbyKenzo Winter Flowers limited edition is available for the holiday season.

The Kenzo fragrance collection has released a limited winter edition festive gift set of its signature FlowerbyKenzo line. Winter Flowers comes in a charming house-shaped gift box, perfect for gift-giving.

The limited edition of the seasonal fragrance features the scents of mimosa, honey, camellia, and hellebore, also called the Christmas rose.

FlowerbyKenzo Winter Flowers in the Christmas Fairytale House gift box is available only through Harrods and costs around $65 for 50 mL.

First introduced in 2008, FlowerbyKenzo Winter Flowers was a seasonal addition to the original FlowerbyKenzo line, launched in 2000.

It shares the same sweet and powdery scent as the main line, but includes the fragrance of winter blossoms, including hellebore.

The Kenzo brand was founded in 1970s Paris by Japanese fashion designer Kenzo Takada. He created Kenzo Parfums in 1987 and released his first fragrance in 1988, though FlowerbyKenzo would become the brand’s flagship fragrance. All Kenzo fragrance products are made in France.

In 1993, Takada sold the Kenzo brand to the French holding company LVMH, the largest international luxury goods conglomerate.

LVMH also owns many well-known brands, such as Donna Karan, Givenchy, Louis Vuitton and Marc Jacobs. French company Christian Dior owns a 42 percent stake in the conglomerate.
