According to the Amazon website, the California punk rock band Green Day is supposedly launching a live album next March 15.
This new album is supposedly entitled Awesome As F ** k and the spring release will also include a DVD.
Last August, the band foreshadowed the upcoming album on their Twitter page telling fans that they have been recording their live shows with the idea of issuing a special release of live material.
"We’ve been recording our live shows since the beginning of tour," they wrote. "Possible live album coming."
If Awesome As F ** k, which should contain 2 discs, actually sees the light of day – which is highly possible – this album will be the band’s second live album in five years, after Bullet in a Bible was released in 2006.
In 2010, a stage adaptation of 2004 album American Idiot debuted on Broadway. The musical has been nominated for several Tony Awards, including Best Musical and Best Scenic Design, and has received generally positive reviews.
